Anna Maria Chlumsky has been an American actress for over 30 years. Her acting career began as a child and gained fame for her character, Vada Oltenfuss in My Girl and My Girl 2 (both films). After her first roles, she went on hiatus between 1999 and 2005 in order to go to the college of her choice. Anna Chlumsky is a Chicago Illinois native who was born to Nancy Chlumsky, Sr. and Frank Chlumsky Jr. on the 3rd December of 1980. Her mother was a flight attendant and her father was a chef. Both of her parents are talented artists while their mother sings and actress, her father is a saxophonist. When she was 10 months old, the Marshall Fields was hired by her as a model for children for their ads. Her sole source of care was her mother, following the dissolution of her parents when she was two years old. In 2010, she appeared in Marshall Fields ads as a young model. When she was two, her parents divorced. was two after which she was raised by her mother who was a single parent.
